The story focuses on an eccentric samurai, Gintoki Sakata, his (partial) apprentice Shinpachi Shimura, and a teenage alien girl who's from one of the strongest races in existence: yato. All three are "freelancers" known as the Yorozuya. They search for work in order to pay the monthly rent, which usually goes unpaid anyway. The story takes place in the Edo Period, but instead of the Europeans invading in the late 1860s they are invaded by aliens, which they call Amanto.	Deep within the deserts lie the mysterious Dungeons, vast stores of riches open for the taking by anyone lucky enough to find them and brave enough to venture into the depths from where few have ever returned. Plucky young adventurer Aladdin means to find the Dungeons and their riches, but Aladdin may be just as mysterious as the treasures he seeks. Together with the genie Ugo and his friend, Alibaba, Aladdin sets out to find his fortune in the depths of the endless dunes.
Rude girl and effeminate boy switch bodies and find that it might be a better fit for both of them. Lots of crazy comedy. Nanako Momoi is the belle of high school... as long as she stays quiet. Once she shows her true self, guys' dreams are shattered for she is a true tomboy. Akira Uehara has the looks and brains, but, unfortunately, his personality is so dull it overcasts a shadow, and nobody notices him. One day, Nanako's grandfather comes up with a crazy invention, and Nanako and Akira trade Bodies! She's him, and he's her!	A grade school class that accepts a girl with impaired hearing. Everything is not as happy as it seems.
Crown Prince Ayato is, while presenting as male, a person with no specific sex. However, at the age of 16, Ayato makes a very important decision. Why does Ayato have the markings of angel wings on his back and what road will he lose when he falls in love? What will be the result of Ayato's decision?
